A mega clean like no other. (Part 1)

We recently received a request from a much valued regular customer asking if we could carry out an end of tenancy clean on a property of his based in East Peckham.

A date was set to do a detailed survey to assertain exactly what needed doing and how long the process would take. This was to the customers satisfaction and 3 days were set aside to carry out the work.

The tenants that had vacated the property had lived there for approximately 5 years and were dog owners. As you can see from the photographs attached it looks as if the carpets had never been vacuumed and were impacted with dirt, debris, grease and dog hair.

So a top down clean was initiated. All doors, door frames, handles, architraves, hand rails and skirting boards were thoroughly cleaned and wiped down. All the kitchen cupboards were cleaned inside and out along with the bathroom.

All the windows inside were cleaned along with all the hard floor areas which were thick with grease and animal hair.. Every part of the property was deep cleaned, leaving the carpets being the final job to do.

This fact may shock you

Every square inch of carpet was vacuumed to remove all surface dirt and debris. Then the carpet was power raked and vacuumed again ensuring that all grit, grime, debris and hair was extracted from deep down in the carpet fibres. Lee said he forgot how many times he emptied his vacuum bag but he did say he filled 3 large rubble sacks!! This process (vacuuming and raking) took well over 12 hours!
