From Warn to Wow a Leather Armchair Transformation

Recently, whilst at a customer’s house, we were asked if we could look at a cream leather armchair to see if it could be cleaned professionally.

Our customer said that she had been attempting to clean it, but it never really made any impact. The problem with shop bought cleaning products is they are alkaline based cleaners which over time destroys leather as it strips it of its fibre.

As you can see from the photos the chair itself, it is impacted with grease and a whole host of other products making it look dark and grubby.

How we treated the leather to clean and revitalise it.

We applied a specialist cleaning solution containing amphoteric surfactants, commonly used in personal care products, to protect the leather and add a UV-resistant coating.
