The B52's would love this chair. It's current owners did. Hence why they got in touch to see if we could work our CCC magic and bring it back to it's all loving glory. As the photos highlight, this love chair was far from lovable, It was crinkled, tired and covered in grease, dirt and God knows what else, so lets have a look see. First job was to remove the filling and get that back into its correct shape. There was little point in cleaning the material only to fit it back still looking saggy and creased. So the filling was fluffed up and manipulated back into it's correct shape. Then onto the fabric itself. Firmly brushed then vacuumed and treated with our specialist fabric restoration detergent (biodegradable of course) this removes any body oils, grease, dirt and debris. The material is then agitated with a rotary brush and left to dwell before being extracted with dry steam, groovy. Once we've established there's no detergent left by using acidic neutralizer, we can be sure there is no dirt left and the chair can be put back together. Once the chair is back together it's treated with a specialist brush designed to lift and seperate the fibres in the right direction, aiding the drying process and final finish.

 

As you can see, it looks stunning now, ready to take it's rightful place in the Love Shack!
